5-31-12 Niagara Falls

Hello Everyone!  Finally getting an opportunity to update my blog.  Yesterday Dale and I drove through Illinois, Indiana and finally deciding to stay in Fremont, Ohio.  Today, we had a beautiful drive through Ohio, Pennsylvania and are now staying in Niagara Falls, New York.  We had a beautiful walk along the head waters of Niagara Falls and decided to take in the Cave of the Winds, which you can see in this picture.  It’s absolutely breathtaking and what’s so amazing, it’s mother nature in it’s pure form.  We went to the top decks of the Cave of the Winds, which is called the Hurricane, and we now know why they named it as such.  The picture in this post is before we made our way to the hurricane platform, and we decided it was aptly named as we decided not to take a dip in the pool when we returned to our hotel!  We were thoroughly drenched!!  Tomorrow we’re driving to see Niagara Falls from Ontario, Canada and then driving through New York State and the Adriondack mountains, as we begin our way towards Burlington, VT.  Will post more pics tomorrow.  Have a good evening!  Pam

Hey Mom! You’re now a part of the ‘blogging’ world:) Dale just said yesterday, “I bet your Mom and Dad went to the Cave of the Mist”. And I said, “Probably not, because Mom doesn’t like being near water like that!” Guess your son-in-law knows you better than I do!
